I'm having similar problems! I want to unsubscribe from Emails but can't. I get 'your account is not yet active' when I try to login, so I go through the hassle of 'Resend Authentication E-mail' etc, but it still doesn't work.

Please can my account just be deleted. After these experiences I don't think I will bother with this site again!

The unsubscribe link does not work (and there are others that don't and just take you to that irritating 'oops' page. I have got my new job and am trying not to have any more emails, but can I get rid of them? No... and when I try to do it by logging in directly on the home page, I have a problem with my password... I get a new password.. it does not work... SOOO frustrating - when is this going to be sorted out?

Well, what can I say except how awful this new look site is.

Not only is the "get where and what I want immediately in one easy page" facility gone, you've fallen for the more "in your face" look to make it "cooler".

What a mess.

As a new user since yesterday 15 Jan. I have had a recurring problem everytime I try to apply on line for a vacancy. The message the wire link has been lost (or words to that effect) continually appear. As a consequence I find I am probably unable to apply for the job as the closing date is 17 Jan. This is frustrating and extremely poor. It appears from me a new user that the "improved" web site is not and there are some major problems that frankly should not have happened. If it was not broken in the first place, as the saying goes don't fix it, or at least get a trained mechanic!

Hi David,

Sorry to hear you are having issues and thanks for commenting. If you could comment again but using the same email address in the comment form as your log-in email (don't worry - its not published) rather than a made up one, I can check to see whats going on.

Cheers,
Eben

Hi

I've just realised I haven't had any emails since before Christmas, although when I run my searches online there are loads of jobs so it's not a quiet time following the holidays, and I should have received a couple of emails a day, as per normal.

(This also applies to jobs.ac.uk - don't know if that's also yourselves?!)

I've even got jobsgopublic.com as a "safe" domain in my ISP and email client - any ideas?

Thanks!

please someone fix the website. I've never had any problem in the past, following the relaunch it has been really bad with errors. Following my experience the saying don't fix if its not broken comes to mind.

Lucy,

Thanks for your kind words.

When looking at a vacancy detail page (from the search results) there should be a link in the middle of the page at the top under 'Job Vacancy Details' that reads "Return to Search Results". Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Eben
