We are pleased to announce the first of 2 hosted chat sessions for the Public, Voluntary Sector and Education Virtual Careers Fair.

Title: Working in Local Government 

Time: 11:00 - 12:00pm, Monday 17th November 2008

Content: “Working for a local council and contributing to the delivery of local public services is an extremely rewarding experience.  Find out more about a career serving your community and making a difference to people’s lives, ask questions about the recruitment process and what it’s like to work for a local council.”

This open session will be hosted by Nicola McKeand from Cheshire County Council who has previously worked for Sunderland City Council as a Project Development Officer before applying for the National Graduate Development Programme (NGDP) and gaining her position at Cheshire County Council as a National Management Trainee.
