Hi Phebean,
You are able to set up as many jobs-by-email searches as you like via jobsgopublic. Firstly you will need to login (top right of home page www.jobsgopublic.com), if you have not logged in already, you will need to firstly register.

After you have logged in, go to the 'job search' page and choose your criteria. (Under any of the sections you can select multiple criteria by holding down the Alt key.) You may want to choose all 3 of your criteria, or set up individual searches for Housing, Customer Service and Support staff.

Then make sure you select the 'Location' that you'd like to work eg Lancashire, Greater Manchester & Cumbria etc.
Then click 'Search' - it will bring up relevant jobs matching your criteria.

When you scroll to the bottom of this page you will see 'Click to save the search criteria - Save Search'. You can choose a title for your search eg. Housing/Cumbria or however you'd like to name this.

These saved searches will automatically email you when new jobs come in that fit your criteria. You can amend you searches and criteria at any stage by going back into your account.

I hope this information has helped you with your job search and thank you for your question on the blog.

Hi Ziad,

The best way to start your search is via the 'Job Search' page http://www.jobsgopublic.com/searches/new
From there you can choose your criteria from the Sectors, Occupational Groups, and Location. (hint: for more than one criteria use the ctrl key when selecting)

For special education and teaching assistance positions these are usually classed in the occupational groups 'Support Staff'.

Hint: utilise all sections of the search function to ensure your results are as accurate as possible including 'Salary Range'and 'Working Pattern'.

Ziad you can also set up several different searches and save them in your profile rather than searching broadly for all areas you are job seeking in.
