The tribe has spoken.
The latest Jobsgopublic candidate survey has been completed and the feedback can only be described as sensational. In the space of about 72 hours over 2,500 of our loyal users submitted their answers, comments, criticisms and suggestions.Thank you, we are listening.
The survey results are giving the team here at Jobsgopublic a valuable insight into the minds of Jobsgopublic users and the experience of using our site as a job seeker. We are confident that we can improve the service we provide and enhance the user experience on the back of this.
Here is a small taste of our findings. It seems we have a loyal following with over 79% of those surveyed indicating that they had visited our site before. The range of tasks users perform once they were on the site looks to be expanding with all 16 options receiving encouraging results, job searches and applying for a job online emerged as favourites. We were also very encouraged by the uptake of social media for jobs searching purposes by our users. The social media space is something you will see develop significantly in the coming months, so stay tuned.
Thank you once again to those who took the time to complete the survey, all of your feedback is greatly appreciated and expect to see changes that reflect the popular notions raised in the coming weeks.
Until next time. Happy job hunting.

Participate in our survey!
We’ve started our first set of jobseeking analysis to see just what it is on our website that you like, or want to see more of, that will assist you with your job search. To do this we’ve produced a survey that you can complete.
Complete the Jobsgopublic survey now!
It’s short, only takes about 5 minutes (we timed it), and will help us improve the services we provide to you. Also if you’ve got ideas, you know we’re open to receiving these, and have a spot at the end of the survey where you can throw a few ideas around anonymously of course.
Alternatively just reply on this blog, we’ll be able to respond to you this way, join the conversation – we love it!
As a sweetener we’ve also added a £100 John Lewis voucher you can go into the draw to win at the end of the survey period. So if you have a few minutes, feel like participating and improving our services to you as a jobseeker, then complete our Jobsgopublic survey.
Big thanks to all of you who are planning too, or have already completed the survey. It’s one of the things I love about ‘the web’, this collaboration, engagement with the end user and communication that can occur at every level, if the organisation or website are open to it.
Happy jobseeking
