Monday Motivation

Arran Williams, April 18, 2016

It’s that time again. For some, the worst ‘M’ in the English Dictionary!
Ok maybe it’s not that dramatic but, for many, Monday can cause a great amount of unrest.

Never fear, we are here with some advice to get you through.

So read on and go and conquer your Monday like a boss!

Riddle me this

How about a riddle to wake you up and get your brain into work mode? Take a crack at this:

I’m tall when I’m young and I’m short when I’m old. What am I?

Feel the rhythm

Music can be a great mood booster!
Whether you put on your favourite song to have a sing along to when you’re getting ready or through your headphones on your commute, it’s a great way to get you motivated for the week ahead.

Check out our office favourite from our Production Team that is a sure fire way to get you pumped for the week.

Be Organised

The realisation on a Sunday night that the weekend is coming to an end can be a miserable thought. However, this is a great time to get prepared for your Monday so the morning doesn’t feel as much of a drag.

Get some things done so you can enjoy a guilt-free snooze the next day. This can be as simple as ironing your shirt or packing a lunch so that it’s all at hand for the next day.

Just think of that extra 10-15mins more in bed! (aaahhh bliss)

And finally…

Smile more

Surveys have proven that people who smile and laugh more are more engaged and enthusiastic about tasks and jobs that they do. So rather than walking into work with a thrown on a Monday morning, brighten up your day (and others too) by showing off that cheesy grin!

To get that smile going here’s a joke:

How does the man on the man on the moon cut his hair?

He eclipse it!

Who said Mondays have to be dull?
