Targeting Diversity with Jobsgopublic

It goes without saying that public service employers need to attract and recruit a diverse workforce that reflects the communities they serve.  This is always challenging and more so if you want to reach a quality, skilled & professional audience.

In order to help target this audience, Jobsgopublic have teamed up with Colourful, a web site and radio station aimed specifically at the African/Caribbean market*.
The Colourful website currently reaches 400,000 unique users a month and 25,000 listeners every week tune in to the radio station.

62% of its audience say they are African/Caribbean, 60% ABC1 with an average age of 25+.

A recent survey amongst the Colourful audience, conducted specifically for Jobsgopublic, showed that:
•    64% worked in the Public/Third Sectors
•    67% were in full time employment
•    45% had a degree and 21% had NVQs
•    38% were continuing to study, of which 37% were studying to work in the public sector.
